I would highly recommend this inn for anyone looking for a place to spend time in Summerside in a nice relaxing setting. The inn is just a short walk from the main drag in Summerside. (Everyone should be required to visit the Holman's Ice Cream Parlour, absolutely the best ice cream parlour ever.) The owner and host Lesley was very accommodating with our bicycles, keeping them locked in the garage. She also suggested the best places for dinner, and of course her breakfast was top notch with multiple options for all tastes. The room was spacious and had a fully modern bath. The Boardwalk Inn is a perfect example of what an bed and breakfast inn should be. Thanks Lesley for the perfect stay.

We had the best stay at Lesley’s boardwalk inn - everything was absolutely perfect and every detail in the inn carefully thought of. Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy and comfortable with a modern shower. I forgot to take a picture of the room, but it was exactly as the website pictures. The house is extremely well maintained and has a lovely porch and backyard vine garden ideal for reading casually. We were able to put our bikes in the garage. The two best parts of the stay are however - Lesley herself who is the most welcoming host and her wonderful breakfasts ☺️. It was such an enjoyable way to start our day - and the breakfast was so generous we often skipped lunch! 😂. As younger travelers, we have noticed many places seem to thrive on offering the bare minimum for a significant cost and limited (often non-existent) human contact. We welcomed the more “traditional” BnB experience offered by Lesley! Thank you again! 😘

We were lucky enough to find Lesley and The Boardwalk Inn for our two night stay in Summerside. The home is absolutely lovely inside and out. Lesley is very welcoming and her breakfasts were amazing with lots of choice and fresh ingredients. The rooms were well appointed and spacious with beautifully done modern bathrooms. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at this beautiful Inn for one night.
The room was beautiful, the bathroom spotless, the house immaculate. Lesley, the proprietor, was so helpful from booking all the way through to breakfast and checking out the next morning. The breakfast she served was delicious. I had the poached egg on toast and the salmon on toast. My husband had the granola. Both dishes were beautifully presented. Lots of other breakfast choices were given. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much Lesley!!

5⭐️ !! I spent one in this lovely place and I recommend all travelers to stop there! You will be delighted by this place. The owner Lesley is so lovely. She is caring, passionnate and her homemade waffles are delicious. The rooms are beautiful, clean and the spot is quiet and relaxing. It was a memorable stay with my mother, thank you again ! If I go back in PEI, I will for sure book at The Boardwalk Inn again ☺️

The most beautiful house with outstanding facilities and the kindest, friendliest hosts ever. It was by far our best B&B in our 24 day tour from Boston up to PEI both in terms of luxury and hosting. The bathrooms are brilliant, the bed was super comfy with high quality linen and the decor is stylish but also homely. Breakfasts have the best choice I have come across - fresh fruit salad, freshly baked pastries, juices, teas & coffee, cereal, yoghurt, toast, eggs, smoked salmon, avocado, roasted tomatoes, salad, hams etc. the list is endless and all beautifully presented and served by Lesley.
I just can’t wait to return.

The hospitality was superb. The rooms are nice decorated, fresh smelling, and well stocked. The breakfast is wonderful with a variety of options, and fresh surprises every morning. We were here for a baseball tournament, and it was close proximity to the diamonds. We walked everywhere we had to go. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed lunch out on the private, shaded patio. Lesley does a phenomenal job at making you feel
welcome!

Highly recommend The Boardwalk Inn to anyone staying in PEI! We stayed for two weeks while working for a farmer in Darnley building and welding the bottoms of grain bins. There was a total of 9 people in our group so we had the whole house to ourselves and Lesley and her husband were wonderful hosts to all of us! Anything we needed, she would try her very best to accommodate and make our stay comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!
